Opened in late September 2014, Toasties is a young establishment opened to cater to the Muslim community in Singapore with a halal alternative to Subway®. Their concept is pretty similar to that of Subway® but their menu consists of more than just sandwiches. They also serve pizza and wraps among a few others. Their bread is baked in store daily to ensure quality and freshness.

The price of a regular 6" sub ranges from $4.90 to $6.90 and an additional $3.50 for a 12" footlong. The types of bread available are Crunchy, Honey Oats, Premium and Oregano Parmesan.
We tried the Smoked Chicken Breast ($5.90) and Italian Trio ($6.90) with the Crunchy and Turkey Ham ($5.90) with the Oregano Parmesan. All came with quite a generous amount of ingredients and tasted pretty good but our favourite among the three would probably have to be the Italian Trio, which consists of beef salami, pepperoni and bacon.
We have tried Subway® in Malaysia and after trying Toasties, we can safely say that the subs served at both are relatively comparable except that Subway® is much more generous with their meat serving.
For an additional $2.50 (+$1.00 to upsize), you can complete your meal with a choice of either cheesy nachos or cheesy sausage and a cup of soft drink (+$1.00 refill).
